English is my first language, sarcasm is my second. I love to laugh, I have a slightly twisted sense of humor. I am the very proud mother of a 3 yr old little girl. Spent all my twenties partying HARD and now I'm focused on being a mother and, woefully, an adult. Still like to have good time, in moderation. I take parenthood VERY seriously, seeking someone who feels the same. Not sure what I'm looking for, but I'm damn sure about what I'm not. Don't have a "type" any more either, when I did that didn't work out so great so I'm pretty open. If you are mature, funny, responsible but laid back, and PATIENT, then I'm game. Hell, I would appreciate ANY adult company...if I never see Dora the Explorer again it will be too soon!

An Ideal First Date Would Be Guess I already went over this but I think a good date would be a comedy show. Doesn't have to be a big name, local comedy club would do. Have a drink or two and something to eat. Pretty simple. I am formal enough at my job, so a good time to me is just relaxing and letting your hair down. Plus laughter of course. I think life is pretty funny, even the bad stuff can be comical. I would much rather laugh my way through life than cry, wouldn't you?
I've Always Wanted To Try Oh geez, where to start? Again, I will keep it simple. A dinner cruise as mentioned, or dinner train maybe? Also, every single year it's been promised to me at Christmas by one person or another to be taken on one of those horse-drawn carriage rides, preferably in the snow of course. I want to have a mug of spiked hot chocolate, a warm blanket and a warm body to share it with. That would be ACES! Never has worked out yet.

I guess my main goal in life is teaching my daughter what it means to be a strong, self-sufficeint "woman" in the true sense of the word, to continue to learn SOMETHING from every life lesson (that way nothing is a failure, just a learning curve), and to seize every moment of joy as it happens, WHEN it happens because frankly, life is no cakewalk and you really do need to stop and smell the roses because your journey is over before you know it.

What Do You Look For? I look for a man that doesn't require nagging. Seriously. It only becomes "nagging" when you guys don't hear or ignore the first 5 times we say it. Need a man that THINKS FOR HIMSELF. I don't have the time or patience to be the brains of the operation. It should be a PARTNERSHIP, equal roles and responsibilities. Not looking to be taken care of. Sounds nice in theory but I would hate it and I know it. Keeping things (even money)separate but equal levels the playing field in my opinion. If you take a man's money then you have to take his bs, and I have a zero tolerance policy for bs. No joke. Which reminds me. HONESTY and mutual respect. Don't underestimate me, my abilities, or my intelligence simply because I am female.
