Tell us a bit about yourself.
- I Would Describe Myself As I don't seem to know how to date as I find myself searching yet again for the man who is my glove. I'm secure with who I am, have been self employed almost 20 years and am a divorced mother of my beautiful 13 year old daughter. Right up front, she does not spend great amounts of time with her dad so she is my shadow. I can work some long and odd hours but have the time for the right man. I am not interested in serial dating. I have dogs (the little kind)and cats. I love animals of any kind... even let spiders go outside. So..... being ok with that is a must. I believe that what makes a relationship spectacular is when both can and want to spend their time supporting the other to be the best they can be. There are rules for arguing something out. Respect is key. Kindness goes a very long way and let's not think or want to change each other. It never works. I'm looking for a kind, funny and honest man to let me be myself and love me for the woman I am. There is no room for arrogance. It seems that there is an " it's all about me" attitude with many people and I don't fit with that mindset. Social media has become more important than the person in front of you. I believe that being aware of other's feelings is so very important. My friends would describe me as accountable and loving. I want to both fall in love and stay in love for the rest of my life so I believe that my soul mate would have those same core values. We should be best friends first and foremost. I like to cook and bake, fish, camp, hate to clean ( but do it anyway). I can shoot my 9mm pretty darn well and I like to put on a dress and go out as much as curl up on the couch and watch a movie. Small "hole in the wall" bars have the best food sometimes and I'm not afraid to try anything new. Second thought, unless it involves flinging myself from a plane or eating something raw. Family time and creating memories is what is important to me. What I value most of all is positive impact on others and positive impact received. After all, that's all we leave with.
